Soybeans Slightly Higher at Midday

Soybean futures are up 1 to 2 1/4 cents in most contracts at midday. Nearby July soybean meal is down 60 cents/ton, with soy oil 28 points higher. The weekly Export Inspections report showed 757,903 MT of soybeans shipped during the July 4th week. That was a 5.14% jump over the week prior and 13.46% larger than the same time last year. Of that weekly total, 243,419 was headed to China. Analysts are expecting NASS to show a 1-2% upgrade in the soybean condition this afternoon, with US planting progress at 97% complete.

AUG 19 Soybeans are at $8.78, up 2 cents,

SEP 19 Soybeans are at $8.84, up 1 3/4 cents,

NOV 19 Soybeans are at $8.96 3/4, up 2 1/4 cents,

JUL 19 Soybean Meal is at $303.20, down $0.60,

JUL 19 Soybean Oil is at $27.72, up $0.28
